Welcome to the TC184/SC4, Setting the Standards for Industrial Data website.

     This site provides collaboration and information sharing service for SC4 technical experts, members, as well as the Chair, Secretariat, Conveners, and Project Leaders. Services include: Meeting Management, and N-Docs for QC and the Working Groups (WG).

     The SC4 Open area provides SC4 member information (P-Members, O-Members, Liaisons), SC4 & WG contacts and N-Docs, Information Standards Developers, meetings information, information on SC4 Projects, and subscription email exploder lists.

     The meeting requests application provides the capability to request Working Group, Team and other meetings at future SC4 meetings. The SC4 N-Docs is a repository of SC4 official documents related to the business of developing international standards and specifications for industrial data. Additional limited collaboration services and access to copyrighted documents are available to members after login.

     ISO TC184/SC4 is the proud recipient of the Lawrence D. Eicher Leadership Award for 2007.

     Each year, the award provides recognition for superior performance by one of the ISO standards development groups. At its 30th General Assembly held in Geneva, Switzerland in September, 2007, ISO President Håkan Murby presented the award to Mr Howard Mason, Chair of ISO TC184/SC4 on behalf of the SC4 Subcommittee. The Lawrence D. Eicher Leadership Award was set up in 2002 by ISO Council to honour the memory of the late Dr. Lawrence D. Eicher, ISO Secretary-General from 1986 to 2002.
